are used to indicate the direction the wind is blowing, the size of the
arrow being proportional to the speed. Spot wind-speed values (mph) are
given below each arrow, along with a basic coloured contour which depicts
areas of stronger winds. Contour values begin at 20mph with intervals of
10mph. Winds are calculated at a height of 900 feet above sea level.
